In accordance with strict compliance to Guidelines by Securities Commission Malaysia, Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and apart from the sharing of information between authorised persons of SWM, SWM will not disclose the Users’/Customers; information to any third party or external organizations without prior consent.
The instances where SWM will disclose the Users’/Customers’ information are: Where it is required by law, Court Order or is otherwise legally permitted; Where such disclosure is required under Order of Court, legislation or regulations to be divulged to any government agency, agencies, ministries, departments or bodies established or approved by Securities Commission Malaysia; or where requested or permitted by the Users’/Customers’ in writing.
Collection and Use of Users’/Customers’ Information
Certain personal information of the Users’/Customers’ as particularized by SWM from time to time will be required to be submitted to SWM by the Users’/Customers’ to enable SWM to process the a request for information pertaining to services offered by SWM for handling queries, evaluating Users’/Customers’ needs and/or offering SWM’s products and services. Generally, the information required includes but shall not be limited to information such as Users’/Customers’ name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, age, gender, particulars of identity documents such as identity card or passport and where applicable, as SWM shall require from time to time.
The primary purpose of acquiring the information is confined in its use to the provision of access to the Site as well as to evaluate the Users’/Customers’ needs that may arise from time to time. This enables SWM to facilitate the provision of information pertaining to SWM’s products and services available from time to time.
SWM does not warrant that SWM Website will be available without interruption and/or disruption and the User’/Customers’ acknowledges that at certain times some or all of the services may not be accessible due to system maintenance or other reasons or cause which are beyond the control of SWM. The Users’/Customers’ further acknowledges and agrees that SWM shall not be liable in any manner whatsoever for any such interruption and/or disruption.
In the event that any or all of the services of SWM are not accessible for whatever reasons, the Users’/Customers’ may use alternative means to communicate with SWM.
Users’/Customers’ are subject to strict governing policies that refrain them from any misconduct. SWM does not condone any malicious conduct on your part in anyway.
